You’re Already a Pantheist

Some people may be very spiritual and feel that pantheism is too logical and scientific for them. Other people may be very scientific and atheistic, and feel that belief in the philosophy of pantheism, and the pantheistic 'god', is too spiritual and irrational for them. The reality is…

 They are all pantheists

 And so are you!

Pantheism literally means “all is god”. The pantheistic equation:

 everything in existence = god

A religious person may find that blasphemous, but only because they are using THEIR own definition of god; often a bearded fellow in the sky, who reads out commands. But this pantheistic equation uses the pantheistic definition of god, which is:

 god = everything in existence

This equates to:

 everything in existence = everything in existence

Or, what exists, exists. The pantheistic god is not some supernatural being that you have to choose whether to believe in or not. The pantheistic god is everything that you already know exists: space, nature, the world, other people, yourself. You see, you’re already a pantheist. You were born a pantheist. No matter how many other beliefs or religions you may adopt, you will always be a pantheist.

You do not need to make an active choice to believe in the pantheistic god.

 You already know it exists.

You do not need to make an active choice to know that we are all one, that we all have common origins.

 You already know it.

You do not need to make an active choice to be a pantheist.

 You already ARE a pantheist.

Pantheism is the only philosophical belief system (except for one other - a topic for another article) that can claim you from birth. Pantheism is the only philosophical system that you will always hold, no matter what choices you make in your life. Even if you try really hard, you can’t not be a pantheist.
